In this Allyn International training we talk about the Supply Chain and its information part, discussing selected supply chain information flows and their supporting technology systems.
Following this course, the student should:
- understand what supply chain logistics information flows are,
- be able to recognize the most common types of information flows,
- be familiar with some of the most common kind of technology systems which support supply chain flows.
Introduction to Supply Chain information flow and systems training content:
In this supply chain and logistics training, we will introduce, present and review the all-important information part of the supply chain.
We will start by looking at what information flows are, before using an example to introduce and present some common information flows.
We will then present and review some information systems commonly used to facilitate these flows and look at an example of how these systems can support the information part of the Supply Chain.
We will close out this module with a summary and an interactive part.
This supply chain focused training runs for approximately 35 minutes.
User experience duration is expected to be around 55 minutes but may vary due to interactive parts and reflection time.
