In this eLearning, we will look at ground freight transport in North America – mainly in the United States.
We will introduce Inland transport as well as the parties and providers in use. We will then review the difference between legal size and oversize cargo and transports. With this done, we will look in quite some details at Truckload and Less Than Truckload transport, before briefly reviewing Out Of Gage – oversize transport. We will speak briefly about road transport documentation and legislation before summarizing.

In this module, we will look at Ocean transport and more specifically at 4 regular liner services:
Full Container Load, Less than Container Load, Break Bulk and Roll On Roll Off.
We will also look at the various transport phases as well as documentation and briefly touch on Ocean chartering.

- confident when working with ocean liner transport thanks to his understanding of ocean freight and transport phases.
- able to exchange in a credible manner with customers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other parties.
- able to select the best ocean solution (FCL, LCL, BB, RORO) based on a given logistics situation.
- able to successfully book ocean freight transports.
In this module, we will look at some essentials related to Air freight transport. We will review air transport in general and look at some specifics related to air forwarders and integrators as well as go over the various transport phases and documentation and briefly touch on Air chartering.

Following this Air cargo training, the student should be:
- confident when working with air transport thanks to his general understanding of air freight and air transport phases.
- able to exchange in a credible manner with customers, freight forwarders and other parties in relation to air transport.
- able to successfully order air freight transports.
