Description
In this Allyn International training, we talk about the Supply Chain and more specifically about its material part and the most common logistics flows which support it.
Following this course, the student should:
- understand what supply chain logistics flows are,
- be able to recognize the most common types of logistics material flows,
- be familiar with some of common logistics operational terms.
Introduction to Supply Chain material flows and terms training content:
In this supply chain and logistics training, we will introduce, present and review a certain number of terms used to describe supply chain and logistics material flows, such as outbound, inbound or milk run.
We will start by briefly presenting the Supply Chain concept, its different components, and its main flows.
We will then look in more details at some inbound, outbound, and operational flows, providing additional detailed and commented examples for the more important, complex ones.
We will then close out the module with a summary table, and to help validate the acquired knowledge, move on to a short interactive part.
This supply chain focused training runs for approximately 20 minutes.
User experience duration is expected to be around 30 minutes but may vary due to interactive parts and reflection time.
